Unplugged Entertainment is proud to introduce the second season of Socket Unplugged, a unique entertainment concept that brings talented artists from across Nigeria to the beautiful city of Yola in Adamawa State.
The event is scheduled for June 11, 2023 at the Lelewal Events Center and promises a night of laughter, good vibes and unforgettable memories. Socket Unplugged is the brainchild of Michael Samuel, commonly known as his Socket CFR. Socket was born in Adamawa State and hails from Huishanxi County, Edo State.
He holds a degree in Theater and Media Arts from Ambrose Ali University Ekpoma. He’s a stand-up his comedian, his brand he’s a strategist, his content he’s a creator, his talent he’s a manager, and live he’s dedicated to uniting communities through his comedy. The event aims to encourage smiles, laughter and socializing while stopping young people from becoming entangled in social vices such as substance abuse, cultism, cybercrime and armed robbery. Past events have attracted Nigerian youth, with an average age of 17 to 30.
The event is seen as a tool to combat social ills in society and aims to entertain and educate. The Socket Unplugged event will showcase his performances in a wide range of comedy from Nigeria’s most exciting creators. This multilingual event aims to become the premier comedy event in Nigeria and promote the country’s cultural diversity.
