Biodun Fatoyimbo, Senior Pastor of the Federal Assembly of Zion (COZA), has finally begun his battle with an unknown disease. Last year, he expressed concern about his health after photos of himself, frail and emaciated, surfaced on the internet.
His photo was taken at Old Trafford, Manchester, England, with his wife’s model and other church members. Note that the comments section was disabled when concerns were raised about his possible illness based on images shared on the church’s Instagram page. Pastor Biodun Fatoiimbo attended the International Pastoral Conference hosted by Bishop David Oidepo of Living Face Church Worldwide on May 11, 2023 in Ota, Ogun State, along with other pastors.
During the event, he admitted that he was ill last year and testified about his recovery, but did not disclose the nature of his illness. Fatoiimbo said his teacher, Oyedepo, prayed for him and gave him blessings during his treatment. “Last year I was a little unwell and was against all medicine,” Papa (Oyedepo) said, and today I am here.” I think that I want to do it! ” he declared.
Pastor Biodun also noted that in his early days, before receiving God’s call to start his own church, he was the drummer at Winner’s Chapel. He had watched Oyedepo from afar for many years, and testified that as he got closer his life took a surprising turn. He also explained that, like Living Face Church, COZA acquired properties thanks to a mentor-disciple relationship with Oidepo, with all branches operating as franchises similar to headquarters.
